SENIOR WRITER

We are looking for you to work on an ambitious video game to lead the development and presentation of the main story, the main characters, and their arcs with the core team, according to creative direction and art direction. With a professional, new IP dev. Env. in UE4 that follows best practices and stays fun to develop.

Location: Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support, guide, and adapt the world lore team in researching history, locations, and events to develop the game’s narrative vision and underlying themes.

  • Cast actors & guide voice-over.

  • Collaborate with the different teams (level designers, game designers, artists, animators, audio designers, etc.) to ensure that all the narrative elements are correctly integrated.

  • Ensure the overall coherence of the storyline/scripted events throughout the game.

  • Ensure the alignment with the creative vision when developing the main characters and vital narrative elements, from the pre-production conception phase to the game’s release.

  • Ensure the quality of the script, scene-breakdowns, and final edits of the scenes and cinematics.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Advanced level of reading comprehension and verbal communication in Spanish and English. (If you’re a non-native Spanish speaker, you should only need to speak in English)

  • You have already managed a team, ideally in an agile framework, and you have strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

  • Passionate about playing and making games; In-depth knowledge of narrative within the games industry; A firm writing experience in the video games industry.
